Your Logo in Your Email Signature
If you find this tip helpful:

Email today is not just for personal communication, it’s
also an opportunity to remind clients and new contacts about
your business and your brand. This is one of the many reasons
why people want to put their company logo in the signature
of their email.
What a great idea, right? Well
yes and no. Adding your logo to your email will appear as
if you are sending an email attachment if not done properly.
This happens when people just insert their logo from the local
computer into the signature portion of the email system. This
causes the email to appear to have an attachment when it arrives
in the recipients inbox.
To eliminate this issue, you must
have your logo stored on your web site, then in the signature
you need to reference the image in HTML as stored on your
web site.
Also keep in mind that your email
needs to be sent in the format of HTML and the recipient will
need to view it in the same format to see your image.
It is always important when marketing
yourself to know how other people will see your information.
This is Jennifer Shaheen, The Technology
Therapist, with your technology tip of the week.
