Many users have all asked me how
to take a picture of what is on the screen as they see it.
The reasons vary; some people want to show a co-worker what
they see, troubleshoot a technical issue or for creating learning
materials. What ever the reason, taking a picture of your
screen or capturing a picture of your screen is a great tip.
If you want to take a snapshot of what you see on the screen
in front of you all you need to do is hit the Print Screen
Key on your keyboard. This is like hitting copy.
Then you need to go to a Word document or even an image program
and click Paste. (Ctrl + V on the keyboard or Edit –
Paste from the menu bar). That’s it!
So next time you have an error on your screen that needs
explaining or you just want to capture your web site for that
PowerPoint presentation – just remember Print Screen.
This is Jennifer Shaheen The Technology Therapist with your
technology tip of the week.
