A podcast is simply an audio recording
that can be listened to online, on your computer or on a player.
Many times this service is used for Internet Radio. The term
podcast has no relation to iPod. A podcast is an audio file
in digital format known as MP3.
You can listen to a podcast on your iPod, iRiver or any other
MP3 player.
Podcasting allows you to record and syndicate
your own radio show. You may also want to listen to podcasts
from your favorite consultants. This new technology makes
it affordable for anyone to put their voice out on the web.
Podcasting does not fall under any FCC regulations and allows
anyone to use this great technology to create a
viral buzz about their company, and services. If
you’re thinking about podcasting Audio
Acrobat offers the tool and the ability to syndicate.
You can also search for podcasts and list
your own in some great online directories.
What are your marketing goals? Maybe
podcasting will help your company increase its visibility
on the web.
